Medicine Drum Crafting Ceremony

  • An invitation into rhythm, remembrance, and rebirth

    Join us for a sacred weekend of drum crafting and ceremony, where you will be guided and supported to create your own frame drum and beater. A drum is not something you make, it is someone you meet. a living instrument imbued with spirit, story, and sound.

    This is not simply a workshop, it’s a journey. A return to rhythm, to the land, and to your own creative source.

  • Over two days, we enter into a ceremonial process of crafting and remembrance, weaving together:

    • Self & Story: Connect with your birth story, creative process, and the energies ready to be rebirthed through your hands.

    • Spirit & Relationship: Cultivate a living relationship with your drum, honouring the spirit of the animal and tree, and listening to the voice of the medicine that wants to come through.

    • Sound & Activation: Rebirth yourself as a drummer. Bless, activate, and attune to your new ceremonial companion.

    THE JOURNEY INCLUDES

    • Circle for intention-setting, sharing, and reflection

    • Cacao ceremony

    • Shamanic drum journey to meet the animal of your hide

    • Meditation to connect with the tree spirit of your frame

    • Weaving your 15” kangaroo or goat hide drum

    • Crafting your own drum beater

    • Rebirthing blessing and drummer activation

    • Guidance on how to care for and play your drum

    NOTES

    • Materials are ethically sourced and prepared.

    • If you’d like to use deer hide, a specific hoop size, or custom wood, please enquire (additional cost may apply).

    • This is a gender-inclusive space, held safely for all.

    • Limited to 6 people for intimacy and personal support.

    • All materials for a 15" drum and beater 

    • Morning + afternoon tea (vegetarian) on both days

Medicine Rattle Crafting Ceremony

  • A ceremonial weekend of rhythm, resonance, and creative remembrance
    Join us for a creative weekend held in sacred ceremony, where you will be guided and supported to craft two intentional medicine rattles — sacred tools of rhythm, spirit, and transformation.

    This is a ceremony of hands and heart, weaving sound and spirit into vessels of vibrational medicine that honour the journey of your becoming.

  • Across two days, we enter into the field of crafting as a sacred act of devotion and self-discovery.
    You will create two rattles: a two-sided palm rattle and a second rattle of your choice (3–4-sided) with a handle.

    Together, we will honour:

    • Animal & Earth: Craft with Kangaroo or Goat hide and crystal fillings, ethically sourced and offered with deep reverence.

    • Sound & Spirit: Cultivate a relationship with your rattles as carriers of medicine, rhythm, and resonance.

    • Creation & Reflection: Witness your creative process as a mirror of your inner state and sacred story.

    • Intention-setting and sharing in sacred witness

    This is more than a making, it’s a homecoming to your relationship with water, adaptability, and the deeper tides within.

  • Over two days, we enter into a ceremonial process of crafting and connection, weaving together:

    • Self & Water: Reflect on your relationship with the element of water — its flow, depth, stillness, and power — and how it mirrors your life and creative process.

    • Spirit & Sound: Cultivate a sacred relationship with your ocean drum as a vessel of healing and resonance, honouring the spirit of the animal, tree, and waters.

    • Craft & Ceremony: Create your drum with presence and intention, anchoring the medicine of water into every thread of its weave.

Creative Circle

  • A gentle gathering of expression, connection, and shared presence
    Gather in community to connect with your creativity, the land, and one another in a gentle, inclusive circle weaving crafting, cacao, and conversation in a nourishing field of shared presence.

  • We begin in ceremony, with warm cacao and an opening circle overlooking the serene Byron Hinterland.

    You are then invited to find your own rhythm — crafting, creating, resting, and connecting indoors, on the deck, or nestled in a grassy nook on the land.

    We close with a short sharing circle to honour what has moved and been made.

    This is a gender-inclusive space, open to all.

    • A current creative project and any supplies you’ll need

    • Optional: an item to place on the altar

    • Optional: extra comfort items (sheepskin, blanket — cushions provided)

    • 3-hour circle held on sacred land

    • Ceremonial cacao and cake

Song Circle

  • A space to sound your soul, gently and freely
    Come home to your voice in a playful and inclusive circle exploring sound, song, and silence as pathways to connection with self, community, and the land. Musical experience is not required, only your presence and your willingness to explore.

  • We begin with an opening circle to land in the space together, grounding into the energy of the morning. From there, we explore vocal expression through simple toning, medicine songs, and free-form sound play, honouring the unique vibration of every voice. We close with grounding and integration, leaving you feeling uplifted, connected, and open.

    You’re welcome to participate through sound, stillness, or listening. Each expression is valid, each presence valued.

    This is a gender-inclusive circle, welcoming all.

Ceremonial and Ritual Co-Design

  • Create a self-led ceremony to honour thresholds, transitions, and transformation

    There are moments in life that call for deeper witnessing; transitions, completions, beginnings, and initiations. This offering supports you to create your own sacred ceremony with clarity and intention. You’ll be guided to design a ritual that aligns with your unique energy, supports your transition, and invites the sacred into your personal process of letting go, calling in, or marking a life change.

  • This is a collaborative coaching session that guides you through the detailed design of your self-led ceremony. Together we will explore:

    • Your core intention and what is being honoured, released, or called in

    • Symbolic and energetic elements to support the ceremony

    • Structure, preparation, and flow — from altar to action

    • Integration practices for anchoring and reflection
